Welcome to the online registration portal for the 2020 Virtual Algoa FM Big Walk for Cancer managed by Zsports Events NPC on behalf of Algoa FM. 

Please read through the below and then select the category you would like to register for.

How does a Virtual event work?

A virtual walk replicates a physical location-based event, but online. You can walk 5km or 7000 steps at your own pace in your neighbourhood from any location you choose from 8am to 10am on Saturday, 31 October 2020.

Being a virtual event with no physical registration function, ALL merchandising / free t-shirts will be couriered to you. 

All deliveries will commence from the first week of October. This applies to all orders placed in September. Please allow five working days for delivery.

How will lucky draw prizes be drawn?

Lucky draw prizes will be drawn from the entrants’ virtual race numbers. Winners will be announced online and contacted telephonically to arrange prize collection.

Limited branded pink t-shirts, caps, buffs, socks and bags will be available for purchase WHILST stocks last. These are available during checkout or from the Merchandise link above if you have already registered.

In order to register for the below event(s) you are required to have a saved profile on the Zsports Website (this is all the typical entry form data saved for convenient and easy re-use).

PLEASE NOTE: Once you have completed your order, checked-out and made payment, you can monitor the progress  of your order from your Profile Page under ORDER HISTORY.

Free t-shirt sizes for the first 7,000 are not guaranteed but we'll try our best to match your selection. Purchased t-shirt sizes will be as ordered.

The FIRST 7,000 entrants (if your race number is below 7,000 YOU qualify) will receive a COMPLIMENTARY race t-shirt. Sizes of this year's shirts are indicated as below.


50-70cm 53-72cm 56-74cm 59-76cm 62-78cm 68-80cm

Shirt Measurement:
1st Measurement - measured from armpit to armpit (width)
2nd Measurement - measured from neckline to bottom of hem (length)


 We accept Credit Cards, Debit Cards and EFT Payments. If paying by cash please ensure that R10 is added when depositing into the ATM or R41 is added when paying in at the teller.

  • Bulk entries to close at midnight on Monday, 19 October
  • Online entries close at midnight ton Friday, 30 October

Please note that EFT payments WILL CLOSE 3 days before the above in order to allow funds to clear into the account and for the entries to be marked as paid.

Due to the Covid-19 safety guidelines and restrictions, it will unfortunately not be possible for you to collect your T-shirt and other merchandise from us this year. So in order to ensure your safety, Algoa FM has negotiated a special R70 courier rate for parcels up to 5 kg – which is the equivalent of 30 T-shirts. If you split the cost of delivery between your family, friends and colleagues, the ‘per unit’ cost will be less than what you would pay for fuel to drive somewhere to collect your shirt. Plus, instead of having to stand in a queue, you will have your T-shirt conveniently delivered to your door.
