ABOUT THE EVENT:

Started in 2021 The Beers & Bagels Fun Run is a run from the popular Jacks Bagels Summerstrand to the relaxed, scenic Ziggy's Rock and Reggae bar at Pine Lodge.

Now, in 2024, we have made Beers & Bagels Fun Run into a 3-PART SERIES!

Part 1 - Summerstrand: Jacks Bagels Summerstrand to Ziggy's Rock and Reggae Bar

Part 2 - Walmer: Jacks Bagels Walmer to Tapas Bar and Restaurant

Part 3 - Lorraine: Jacks Bagels Lorraine to The German Club

This fun run is aimed at everyone, whether you sprint, run or walk all that matters is that you have a good time! And it is a pretty good excuse to eat a bagel and drink a beer.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION - NEXT EVENT:

Adult entrants will receive one free bagel (valid for race day only) at the start of the race and a cold refreshing beer upon crossing the finish line.

All participants who enter before:

Part 1: Monday 24th of June

Part 2: Monday 15th of July

Part 3: Monday 12th of August

will be given a complimentary, Beers & Bagels T shirt.

Times will be recorded and posted on the Zsports website for those athletic runners aiming to break their personal bests.

Children under the age of 18 will be given a free bagel before the start of the run (Discounted entry into kids race DOES NOT include T shirt). 

Pre-Entries will close on race week Thursday at midnight.

LATE ENTRIES AVAILABLE:

RACE PACK COLLECTION

Any race packs not collected on Friday will be available on Saturday before the race. Participates will receive more information regarding race pack collection via email.

Prizes:

There will be a number of lucky draws available to those lucky runners who are chosen. Prize giving will take place after the last runner has finished 

Participants are urged to stick around post event and enjoy the awesome atmosphere of our finish venues.

ENTRY FEE REFUNDS / ENTRY TRANSFER POLICY

Unfortunately due to the administrative and logistical costs of our Zsports Events, we have a NO REFUND or carry forward policy for all our events. However, we have introduced the ability to transfer your entry before race weekend. It is the withdrawing athlete's responsibility to find a suitable replacement for their entry and such replacement is required to register online (before close of entries) in the applicable race category in order to be eligible for entry.

If you are unable to attend, please notify us in writing so that you can send you a discount coupon code for your replacement to use when they register online.

Please appreciate, that Zsports will not entertain or respond to any emails requesting a refund or carry forward of an entry. 

Please note that any entry incentives which may be offered with this event, like t-shirts, goody bags, tokens etc are to be collected at pre-registration. Such incentives WILL not be kept for participants once registration is closed and the race starts and, in most instances, will be given away during the course of the event or prize giving as the organiser sees fit.
