Every year South Africans celebrate Women's Month during the month of August to pay tribute to the 20 000 plus women who marched to the Union Buildings on the 9th August 1956 in the protest against the extension of Pass Laws to women.
Pretty in Pink 5km has been established to celebrate all the women in our country and paint our city PINK! Sprint, run, walk, jog, speedwalk we don't mind as long as you are wearing something pink and a smile on your face!
Because this event is more about comradery and spirit than individualism, it will be a non-timed event. We aren't out to break records, we're there to support each other in togetherness.

Manual Entries (at R200) will be possible at Brian Bands Sports (Newton Park) or Zsports Offices (Walmer), but we do encourage the discounted online entry option.

Race Pack / Race Number collection:
Wednesday 7th & Thursday 8th August, Boardwalk Mall, between 12 noon and 6pm. Come earliest in the collection period to ensure you receive the t-shirt size you ordered. These are handed out on a first come basis as all t-shirts were ordered prior to close of entries so sizing is not 100% accurate on entry requirements.
