aQuellé Ocean Racing Series
Started in January 2006, the Ocean Racing SeriesTM remains one of the largest family beach events in Africa and is unique to Nelson Mandela Bay.
The Series offers a fantastic way to stay fit in a casual, friendly and safe environment. Participants of all ages and fitness abilities are encouraged to join in the fun of the Series which is great for families.

The aQuellé Ocean Racing Series - Season 13 starts with a registration function on Friday 6th October 2017 ahead of round 1 on Sunday 8th October 2017. NEW RULE FROM SEASON 13 is that registration (ideally online) is REQUIRED for each and every race day a participant wants to take part in. Online you choose which race day you want to pay for ahead of the race weekend. Late entry fees will apply to ALL entries on race day (irrespective of whether that person has taken part in a Season 13 race or not).
All disciplines run simultaneously so you choose which one you'd like to do on a specific race day.

Kids Event - R40
Register & pay online and SAVE:- Race day late entry fee of R30applies to all entries paid for on race day.
Swimmers are required to swim in the designated swim cap for the chosen discipline. Replacement silicone caps are available for just R30 at registration or at beach.
Double points days
This season Round 1 is a DOUBLE POINTS day counting towards the overall Series points standings. See Prize Template for more details.
The nominated charity for Season 13 will be Rotary. Through the Rotary Club of Port Elizabeth Sunrise, the ORS helps contribute towards the upliftment of the local community. The Rotarians manage a bag drop of zone for participants on race day and donations are always welcome for the safe keeping of your belongings whilst you are taking part in the event.
