The aQuellé River Mile

Africa's oldest open water swimming event

We regret to advise that this year's RIVER MILE FESTIVAL has been cancelled and we will only be hosting the Men's and Ladies Mile events with a limited entry in order to ensure the continuity of this historic event.

This year we see the 97th aQuellé River Mile taking place on SUNDAY 25th April with the Ladies Mile at 1pm and the Men's Mile at 2pm and limited to ONLY 200 swimmers per event.

With regret there will be no swim caps issued this year and at this stage no cash prizes for the top 10 swimmers.
