Medihelp Nelson Mandela Bay Train Race

The Nelson Mandela Bay Train Race supports LOVE STORY, an NPO founded in 2012 which has grown from an idea birthed from the hearts of a few, to a multi-faceted organisation that runs a variety of community upliftment projects across Nelson Mandela Bay. The NPO exists to restore hope and love to those who are forgotten and destitute.

Through their FEEDING SCHEMES they aim to reach out to every homeless and hungry person across our city. LOVE STORY currently runs close on 15 soup kitchens across the region and serve about 50,000 meals per month.

Their EARLY CHILDHOOD DEVELOPMENT PROGRAMME is a doorway of influence into destitute communities. Teams visit disadvantaged creches everyday to interact with the children and keep them stimulated.

Through their DISTRIBUTION & UPLIFTMENT PROGRAMME they aim to support the community wherever the need arises e.g. through hospital visits & gift distribution; by rebuilding shack homes; by donating household items to the needy and as an ongoing concern they support families who are in crisis with weekly grocery parcels.

Love Story relies solely on the support of the public. They dream to see individual in our city join hands to make a difference in the lives of those struggling around us.
