Triathlon Summer Series

 The ultimate Eastern Cape Triathlon Series : 1 WEEK | 4 RACES.

The Eastern Cape's premier summer triathlon series is open to all, regardless of experience in triathlon, level of skill, athletic ability or fitness. If you enjoy multi-sport events then THIS ONE is definitely for you!

Register ONCE ONLY (irrespective of which race day will be your first) - we'll carry your entry over until you report for entry. 

The 2023 Triathlon Summer Series takes place on the following dates and venues:

TWO DISTANCES ON OFFER 

SPRINT TRIATHLON

 Minimum age for individuals is 16 years & team entrants is 12 yrs
(as at 31 Dec 2023)

SUPER-SPRINT TRIATHLON

Minimum age for individuals is 12 years (as at 31 Dec 2023)

TRIATHLON SOUTH AFRICA SANCTIONED EVENT - licenses are necessary for all races. A temporary day license is included in the category specified as '+ TEMP'.

Race Belts are COMPULSORY - your race number will be provided ONCE ONLY for the Series and you are requested to please keep this for each race day please. Replacement numbers (hand written) will be provided at R20 each, where necessary.

While the Series REMAINS focused on INDIVIDUAL entries, we do appeal to teams and have introduced some themes to run alongside the traditional individual races. Within each of the four race days, we are running a theme to appeal to a different  audience - this is over and above your typical individual entries and please note that these themed categories don't count for overall Series points.

SUNDAY 17th - Give it a TRI - calling all novice and budding triathlete's to come and GIVE TRIATHLON a try. If you a novice and new to triathlon, sign up for the NOVICE super-sprint distance race on Sunday 17th  December.

TUESDAY 19th - CORPORATE TEAMS DAY for companies to offer your staff a fantastic TEAM BUILDING morning out with us. Register your company team and take full advantage of all the fun, refreshments and food on hand. 

THURSDAY 21st - PARA THURSDAY, calling on triathletes or budding athletes with disability to join us in the Para Sprint Distance Triathlon

SATURDAY 23rd - CHAMPIONSHIP SATURDAY, come and rub shoulders and race alongside the Best of the Best in our Series Finale race day where we crown our overall Series Champions.

EVERY race day we'll have a prize giving at 10h30 with some great Lucky Draws up for grabs.
