Condensed Race Briefing

What’s needed.

  • Download FinishTime Passport phone app from your Play / Apple Store & ensure completed to QR stage for THIS event. App Store(, Play Store (
  • You will be scanned in & temperature checked. (Covid protocol)


  • To be advised on date and times - Participant DRIVE THROUGH collection of Race Packs
  • Attach your numbers (from within your race packs) to the appropriate places (check here)

SUNDAY (Race Day)

  • Athletes ONLY (Covid protocol) - Transition open 05h30 - 07h00 only
  • Bike Check in and checking of helmut, race numbers and swim cap.
  • Racking on race number only (see racking diagram) Even numbers on Ocean Side or racks, Odd numbers on road side of racks
  • Arrange personal equipment as you want it
  • A small towel is allowed on the ground with race equipment on top
  • Walk to the start (Hobie Beach)
  • 07:30 Race Start
  • Swim in (Hobie Beach) and out (Pollok Beach)
  • Use of Swimbuoys is NOT Permitted
  • Cycle 3 loops (NON Drafting, World Triathlon's 12m rule applies)
  • Run 5 laps with an elastic band given at end of each lap. (Without 4 elastics you will not be allowed down the finish shute).
  • Water Tables, where provided, strictly SELF SERVICE (Covid Protocol)
  • Once finished collect medal, drink and bike and leave the precinct. (Field of play)
