There will also be soft cut-offs at the Cycle turn-around point (Willow Grove) on the 2nd lap and at the start of the last lap of the run to ensure no participants are on the route when roads re-open.

Minimum age for team entrants will be 18 years of age in the year of the event.

A team is to comprise of 2 or 3 members with each team member competing in one (or 2 in the case of a 2 person team) of the 3 disciplines in a relay format.

Each team member needs to be present at registration.

Teams will use their TIMING CHIP as the race baton ensuring that this is handed over and placed on the teammate's ankle before they are allowed to start their leg. There will be a seperate handover area in transition for Teams.

In the Team race packs will be one swim cap, two race numbers, and the bike & helmet stickers. The swim cap is worn by the swimmer and the race numbers to be worn by the cyclist (on back) and runner (on front).

All team members must wear the wristband provided in the race pack from the time of registration to end of race. Not all team members are permitted access to transition at the same time. To avoid congestion, during the swim leg only the cyclist is permitted in transition ready for handover. During the cycle leg only the runner waits in transition for the handover. There should never be three relay team members in transition at the same time.

Team members may finish together and a designated relay team meeting point will be provided at the start of the finish tunnel. When your runner comes into the finish tunnel, team members will be granted access in order to finish together as a team.

Transition area will open from 14:00 on the Saturday and 05:30 on race day only.
TSA Officials will check your swim cap (supplied cap), helmet and bike on entry.
Transition will close at 06:30 and will re-open for bike removal as soon as the last person finishes - all bikes to be removed by 17:30 on race day.
No bags are allowed to be left at the bike racks - a special secure area will be allocated for these.
